The 17th annual Rotary Music Festival, presented by the Cedarburg-Grafton Rotary Club to benefit student scholarships, offers performances by fabled drum and bugle corps from across the country.

Nine drum & bugle corps will be performing in this year's music festival on Sunday, July 3, including two former world champions: The Cavaliers of Rosemont, IL and the Carolina Crown of Fort Mill, SC. Additional drum & bugle corps are: Blue Stars of La Crosse, WI; Colts of Dubuque, IA; Colt Cadets of Dubuque, IA; Kilties of Racine, WI; Music City of Nashville, TN; Pioneer of Milwaukee, WI; and Troopers of Casper, WY.

The concert begins at 7pm at Cedarburg High School, W68 N611 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg.

Tickets can be ordered through Drum Corps International at www.dci.org/tickets or by calling (317) 275-1212. All seats are reserved so advance tickets are encouraged to get the best seats in the stadium. Ticket prices range from $20 to $40 and include a $5 discount on seats for groups of 20 or more. Arrangements for handicapped seating and free tickets for children 7 and under can be obtained by phone only.

Three of the corps - the Carolina Crown, the Pioneer and the Troopers - will march in the Cedarburg 4th of July parade the following day. The Troopers will do a standstill performance in Cedar Creek Park after the parade.
