And they’re off! Break out the hats and bow ties for this ‘dress to impress’ annual fundraiser Gala at The Cedarburg Cultural Center. The Run For The Roses Gala takes place on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at 4:30 pm. The Run For The Roses Gala is not just about horse racing... this Derby Style event will support the non-profit Center’s mission to celebrate art, music, and history with its thousands of local and regional visitors each year.
The Kentucky Derby is well known for being one of the biggest fashion extravaganzas of the year so head to the Cedarburg Cultural Center and dress to impress in a way that can only be seen on this special day! Wear your favorite Derby Hat and straighten those bow ties as this fashion event at the Cedarburg Cultural Center will sizzle as members, locals and visitors alike strike their best pose for our photographer in the hope of securing awards for ‘Best Bow Tie’ and ‘Derby Hat.’
Enjoy the Churchill Downs warm-up to the races during the Mint Julep cocktail hour with live music by “Back in the Day Dan” and “Bones Boyles.” Later in the evening, Best of Blueburg 2018 winner, B.J. Fisher, will share a few crowd-pleasing songs plus the Cedarburg Children’s Theater will share an entertaining skit. Guests will enjoy a scrumptious southern dinner and dessert.
The evening features unique silent and verbal auction items which include: Key West Houseboat Vacation, Private concert and cocktail party with Stephanie Hayes & Loud Mouth Soup, Private Wine Party with Jack Hale and more!
Proceeds benefit more than 15 programs and three buildings under the management of the Cedarburg Cultural Center. Be sure to enjoy the ‘Equine Celebration: The High Energy of the Horse’ featuring the art of Chuck Weber in the gallery. The Gala will take place inside Cedarburg Cultural Center at W62 N546 Washington Avenue, Cedarburg. Tickets are available for $100 per person, $800 per table of eight plus table sponsorships are available for $1250 per table of eight and includes prominent signage. All proceeds support the non-profit Cedarburg Cultural Center.
