"Home for the Holidays", the second event of the Festive Friday Eves celebration at Cedar Creek Settlement, sponsored by Settlement merchants begins Friday, November 27 from 5-8 p.m.
This free event, the day after Thanksgiving, will give families a chance to experience the authentic Currier & Ives charm of Cedarburg, decked out in holiday finery. The perfect venue to bring friends and family members out of your house and into ours for the glorious Christmas shopping experience known as The Shops of Cedar Creek Settlement, located at the corner of Washington Avenue and Bridge Road in Historic Cedarburg, just 20 minutes north of Milwaukee.
Shopping local to support small business has never been more important in these COVID times. For your protection we require masks and social distancing and our shop owners are doing a thorough job cleaning and sanitizing to keep you safe.
Mel’s Charities is doing a cookout in our courtyard each Friday evening, so if you are craving a brat, burger or a cold beer know that your funds support worthwhile Cedarburg causes, including human services, special needs and memorial scholarships. 100% of monies raised are given back to support these worthwhile needs.
Our featured shops this week include: The Olive Sprig, offering olive oil and balsamic pairing samples and Grab & Take Holiday Recipes, Cedar Creek Trading Post offering dips, fudge and popcorn samples, safely served. Tlc Casuals will showcase products made in the USA with discounts and an informal Fashion Walk. Alpine Gift Haus will offer Christmas Tree and Mantle Decorating Ideas and a free Ornament Box with purchase – along with a 20% discount for military and first responders (with ID) and Cedar Creek Winery will feature their best-selling holiday wine – Cranberry Blush.
Free Settlement Logo Tote Bags will be given each week to the first 100 adults (one per family) as a special thank you gift from the Settlement merchants. There will also be a drawing for a Gift Basket, filled with items and gift certificates from our shops. Come visit us to get in the Christmas spirit at Cedar Creek Settlement, aglow with holiday greenery, thousands of tiny white lights and luminarias.
